Club Med Australia is looking for a M&E and Social Media Intern!

This position offers ground-up exposure to M&E sales, operations and marketing while supporting our Club Med PR Mission.

You will support the Meeting and Events and Communications teams across a range of tasks such as management of Club Med Pacific social media through content development, community management and reporting, and market research.

Sales support: Help with corporate group enquiries, proposals and quotes, and learn the full sales process from first enquiry to confirmed booking. You’ll also find new leads through LinkedIn Sales Navigator and partnerships, and keep sales materials up to date.

Social media: Run Club Med Pacific and M&E pages on Facebook and LinkedIn. This includes planning weekly content, posting on-brand, replying to comments daily, and tracking performance to improve the strategy.

Group coordination: Support group bookings, rooming lists and event requirements with in-resort teams. You’ll track payments, help with pre-arrival planning, and handle follow-ups, invoice and commission checks, and closing group files.

General: Keep up with M&E trends, competitor news and Salesforce updates across Australia and New Zealand, and work closely with the M&E and Marketing teams on initiatives.


Profile and Skills

  • Currently studying or holding a degree in Business/Commerce, Tourism, Marketing or Communications or a related field.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities, self-initiative, self-management skills and attention to detail.
  • An understanding of, or strong interest in MICE operations and Social-Media (previous experience is not required, as we’ll provide training).
  • Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite platforms (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Pardot is a plus.
  • Strong communicator, passionate about writing, with a keen eye for creativity ,and attention to detail.

Position starts January 2027 until June/July 2027 (6 Months)

Candidates must be eligible for an Australian Working Holiday Visa and must have a school agreement for this on site position.
