Creating happiness since 1950

Club Med was created in 1950 by Gérard Blitz and Gilbert Trigano. Together, they invented a new style of holiday: all-inclusive holidays in the world's most beautiful locations.

The idea was to free the individual from daily constraints, allowing them to rediscover the joys of living together, recharge their batteries in contact with nature and through sport: happiness by Club Med was born.

Today, Club Med is the worldwide leader in all-inclusive holidays, with almost 70 premium and Exclusive Collection Resorts and more than 20 offices on all five continents.

Club Med offers more than 120 professions in its Resorts and more than 400 professions in its Offices. We have nearly 30,000 G.Os (Gentle Organisers) and G.Es (Gentle Employees) from 110 different nationalities and cultures.
