Gestionnaire Contrôle de Gestion / Business Control Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Business Controlleris responsible forensuring effective financial oversight and control within Club Med. This role involves analyzing financial data to guide strategic decisions, enhancing financial performance, and promoting operational efficiency. As a key financial advisor, the Business Controllermaintainsrigorous controls, supports budgeting and forecasting efforts, and provides insights tooptimizebusiness operations.

GENERAL MISSIONS

1. FinancialAnalysisandReporting

• Conduct thorough financial analyses to assess company performance and inform strategic decision-making.

• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to management that illustrate key metrics and trends.

• Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting, adhering to corporate standards.

2. BudgetingandForecasting

• Collaborate with department heads to develop realistic budgets and financial forecasts.

• Monitor budget implementation and perform variance analysis to manage financial performance.

• Assistin strategic planning by using forecasts to align resources with businessobjectives.

3. InternalControls and Compliance

• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.

• Ensure strict adherence to financial policies and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Identifyand manage risks associated with financial operations.

4. OperationalEfficiencyand ProcessImprovement

• Identifyareas for cost savings and process improvements within the finance function.

• Implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

• Use performance analysis tools tooptimizeresource allocation and operational effectiveness.

5. Business Partnership and Support

• Act as a strategic partnertomanagement, providing financial insights and recommendations.

• Support cross-departmental initiatives to ensure financial alignment with business goals.

• Facilitate decision-making by offering analyticalexpertiseand actionable financial data.

6. Management and Leadership

• Create a structuring and inspiring framework: Provide a clear and engaging environment, give meaning to actions and embody the Club Med Spirit. 

• Develop and empower teams: Help them develop their skills, encourage autonomy and initiative.
